Job Description
Performs with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative, Diagnostic Ultrasound exams and invasive procedures of designated anatomy to physician specifications and established protocols. May participate in call rotations, as necessary.
Experience Required
- Graduate of approved CAHEA school of diagnostic medical sonography or certification program. In good standing with the ARDMS.
Experience Required
- 3 years of ultrasound experience performing imaging examinations using established protocols with the level of knowledge acquired through completion of occupationally specific education
- 2 years of experience in vascular ultrasound.
Certification & Licensure Requirements
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
- RDMS - Reg Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- ARDMS - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

- Can use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Able to assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action
- Ability to deal effectively and ethically with medical and confidential information relating to patients, families, physicians, and nursing personnel
