Job Description
Performs basic life support (BLS) services and assists in emergency medical, traumatic, psychiatric care, and stabilization for patients in accidents or illness scenes and during transportation to medical facilities and/or during interfacility transports.

Certification & Licensure Requirements
- Driver's License - 21 years of age required to drive apparatus Upon Hire
Knowledge, Skill, & Ability Requirements
- Able to perform under stress when confronted with emergency, critical, unusual, or dangerous situations
- Can multi-task and use critical thinking
- Ability to drive an ambulance safely under various weather conditions
- Demonstrates and adheres to program policies and procedures regarding ambulance safety and transport communications
- Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations and guidelines
